About me:
I am a parttime tipster but normally use too much time to find my picks. Like you(I hope), I look for value via information etc., but I am not afraid also to go on for a loose bet. You know, when you got that nice feeling, sometimes then you must react for that!
I have a little profit for all time in my bettinglife, maybe thats why I enjoy the challenge of betting!:-)
Well, my focus is on soccer and icehockey, specially NHL but also Europa-hockey.
I promise you that all bets have gone a stake from me private and that means: No joke-betting. Killersnail is my choice of profile because I am often late to public my picks.

STRATEGY:
Rule nr 1: Going all in is a joke!;-)
I rate the picks from a combi of value and believe, and if you follow then 1 unit= what ever, its your money.
You will never see odds from 1.50 and under here, because this lowodds isnt my favourite....
If the picks isnt choosen to the VCASH-contest its only because of the timerules.

Please use the chat down under or the messagebook, and scream or get satisfied with the picks! I can take it!:-)

Falkenberg - Sirius    -4

An etablished middlelevel(or worther) hometeam against second years newcomers(even Sirius is an old wellknown club in Sweden...).

Falkenberg:
1 win-1 loss so far and normally to find in the middle or like last year in the relegationarea in the end of the season. Saved just exactly one more year in this league, and have bringed in some experienced players. Hard to predict a topseason for hosts and its likely they again will be in the other end of the tablen. Last year a mediumstrong hometeam and the homewin against groggy relegators Brommapojkerne dont say so much. But they looks slowly latest against upcomers and lowrated Vasby. No important missings in the group.

Sirius:
Make a good performance as nr 7 in the first season after promotion. Extreme strong at home but badly away. The preseason up to this season have been up and down, and surely is used to play some quality new players in. Until now 1 win and 1 draw, a spectular 5-1 win in the opener in Degerfors and latest 1-1 against allways hardbeaten Mjällby. Could happen the club have worked mentally with the group to overcome that awayspoke in the results!:-) Anyway, it looks like Sirius want to be seen in the top and then is 3 points a must against this sorts of teams. Last year the matches ended 4-0 on Sirius ground and here at Falkenberg 1-1. Sirius have the luxury to put last years topscorer Daniel Hoch on the bench, and show IMO some capacity in the playergroup. No important missings as I can find out.

Okay, maybe its a little trap but then I jump in it directly because of the high odds on the visitors in this derby.

The compressed start of the season have allready reached the 8. round. Helsingborgs start have shown some loose play- good in offence bud shaky defence, and a keeper with some problems in goal. Big star in the team is Henke Larsson(2 goals) and beside him in front is Christoffer Andersson(4 goals). At home they still look for the first win after 3 draws so long. Disappointing that teams like Gefle and Norrköping couldnt be send home without points, if you wanna be a topteam. Come from a 2-4 loss against leaders from Kalmar.

Malmö looks to be more on fire now after some slow draws and still keeps the first loss out of sight. Nr 3 in the table is the result until now and away kast time they took the first win this year against Halmstad. I dont think they is so much underdog to repeat that again here. Come from a win at home against struggling Norrköping and history shows a lot of wins to visitors in this derbys no matter where, and if Helsingborgs defence again is in error-mode, then.....

No big problems in squads and here is newest previous meetings:
07-08-07 Malmø FF Helsingborg 1 : 1 Allsvenskan 2007
15-05-07 Helsingborg Malmø FF 0 : 1 Allsvenskan 2007

Næstved - Køge    +5.75

A little localderby in the second level of danish soccer. Both teams create most of the points at home. After some hard competitions Naestved now come from a win and they should clear be motivated to win again because not so long from bottom, and they have struggled exactly to beat Koege all time. But better capacity in the playergroup and specially the organisation in Naestved make me believe that its time to change in Naestveds favour.
Naestved at home W5-D3-L2 and Koege away is W2-D2-L6 and the shape is better also in hometeam, specially when we compare which teams they have meet lately.

No promotiontema in both clubs and here a little view on the table:
6 Køge 21 8 5 8 29-36 -7 29
7 AB 21 7 7 7 24-28 -4 28
8 Kolding FC 21 7 6 8 35-30 5 27
9 Frem 21 10 2 9 35-34 1 26
10 Næstved 21 7 4 10 26-31 -5 25
11 LFA 22 6 6 10 23-29 -6 24
12 Aarhus Fremad 22 6 6 10 16-30 -14 24
13 HIK 22 6 4 12 25-44 -19 22
14 Hvidovre 21 5 5 11 20-28 -8 20

One shot left in this serie- and I have the feeling that the little ugly duckling maybe in the end will grow up to a beauty swan!:-)
And in this vue the odds on Boston presented here is to high and worth a little stake....

In the regular season Montreal have a good take on Boston the last couple of years:
23-03-08 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 3 : 2 NHL 2008
21-03-08 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 2 : 4 NHL 2008
23-01-08 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 8 : 2 NHL 2008
11-01-08 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 2 : 5 NHL 2008
07-12-07 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 2 : 4 NHL 2007
18-11-07 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 7 : 4 NHL 2007
09-11-07 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 1 : 2 NHL 2007
23-10-07 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 6 : 1 NHL 2007
28-09-07 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 3 : 2 NHL Preseason 2007
23-09-07 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 3 : 4 NHL Preseason 2007
04-04-07 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 2 : 0 NHL 2007
23-03-07 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 3 : 6 NHL 2007
21-03-07 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 1 : 0 NHL 2007
04-03-07 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 3 : 1 NHL 2007

The Play-Of until now:
20-04-08 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 5 : 4 NHL Slutpil 2008
18-04-08 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 1 : 5 NHL Slutpil 2008
16-04-08 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 0 : 1 NHL Slutpil 2008
14-04-08 Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens 2 : 1 NHL Slutpil 2008
13-04-08 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 3 : 2 NHL Slutpil 2008
11-04-08 Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins 4 : 1 NHL Slutpil 2008

So what is happen here in the last 2 games? And as underdog no really big pressure on Boston tonight but they no matter what can bring some momentum after good performance. Coming from behind 1-3 in the serie and specially if they can repeat the gameplan from the 5-1 win last time here, then....Boston is medium strong away from home but Montreal so far this season isnt the strongest hometeam. It seems like bookies odds are nearly based on historic facts as "Montreal have never crunched out when 3-1 up in serie, Boston have never won a serie when was 1-3 down" etc.

Tonight you can forget about talent and all old results, Montreal SHOULD take this yes, but can they? And specially not at that joke-odds a homewin give and that push the value to Boston. A little advantage I will give to visitors goalkeeper Tim Thomas- he is one of the best on the topdays, this could be one of them.

No change in the teams squads, maybe long absentee Patrice Bergeron can play some part in Bostons game but not confirmed.

Trelleborg - Malmo    -4

After the first 3 matches a local derby here between little hometeam Trelleborg against wannabee topteam and mighty brother Malmö.

Trelleborg:
1-1-1(4-3) after this serie:
09-04 A Norrköping U- 1:1
06-04 H Gais V- 3:1
31-03 A Örebro T- 1:0

This is some of the calculated lower teams and not so impressing results after all. Trelleborg in relegationzone last year but exactly survived with playoff win. Homestrong no and lowbudget yes and they will in the end be happy to stay in Allsvenskan. But this match is big for the club and they have often damaged the visitors hopes and will try again. No big problems in the squad.

Malmö:
0-3-0(3-3) after this serie:
10-04 H Elfsborg U- 1:1
05-04 A Djurgården U- 1:1
31-03 H IFK Göteborg U- 1:1

A hard start against strong opposition but have points out of all of them- and thats okay. Very disapointing last year with a star-group but no team. This year a new coachpair(both from Gais) and they show lower profile but this is maybe what the club need to end in the top. Big capacity still in the group and notice that exactly Gais beat Trelleborg in both meetings last year he-he...
The weather is nice around here, after bad results here other years everybody in Malmo know that this isnt easy. But to start climing up they need full pot today, and with many supporters also on the ground motivation and spirit should be in top. No big problems in the squad.

One of 2 matches this sunday afternoon from the Norhtleague and short time so quick!

About 10 teams still have some hopes of promotion-its very tight or on another way: No teams is that dominant.
Düsseldorf is showing shaky form and specially they have more bad results at home than away, where they are the best in league. Last 2 homematches losted and when bad awayteam like Magdeburg can win here also formteam like Oberhausen have some chances. The visitors have nearly a full group to choose from and a win put them on the top of the table. Even here also is a little drawchance too, so maybe you better like a asian 0,25(ca 2.07 at Pinnacle).

Düsseldorf probably miss a important midfielder Lambertz and Oberhausen miss a marginalplayer Tennagels because of suspension.

Salisbury - Exeter    -4

Motivation, motivation and more motivation. Its the time of the season when many teams have a lot to play fore and others havent....so much...

SALISBURY:
As upcomers they have done a great season and is parking as nr 9 in the table. But 11 points up to the playoff is too much with only 5 games in hand. I dont even think playoff was a ambition this first year, maybe the next one. Very strong hometeam with W10-D7-L3 but nothing really to play fore anymore except to enjoy the crowd. In last homematch they win against a little slumping Stevenage, but this win was the first in 7 games. In the weekend they loss 1-2 at leaders from Aldershot, no shock that...
BBC write that the group only is on 14 players, but 11 is enough and I am not influed on that info.

EXETER:
Again this year to find near the top of the table- this is the situation now(Aldershot on the directly promotionplace):
2 Torquay 39 23 7 9 74-48 26 76
3 Cambridge 41 21 11 9 59-38 21 74
4 Stevenage 41 22 7 12 76-46 30 73
5 Exeter 40 19 15 6 70-49 21 72
6 Burton 40 20 11 9 67-45 22 71

Exeter on the last playoff-place with Burton ready to spoil it. Burton plays also today at home against Altrincham while Stevenage and Cambridge like Exeter also are on trips. Exeter slumped for a short while ago but again is doing better. Changed the style from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 and that was very succesfull in their last match away at Stevenage. They dominate the game and win 1-0. And only another win today can make the hometrip relaxed, so all-in we must expect here.
BBC write:
Steve Basham is an injury doubt for promotion-chasing Exeter's third match in six days.
The striker marked his recall to the side against Stevenage on Saturday by scoring the only goal of the game before going off with a calf injury.

The seasons first meeting ended in a Exeter win by 4-2, and Richard Logan(15 goals and on the pitch today) made a hattrick that day.

Barcelona - Getafe    -2
Sunday, April 06th, 2008 21:00

Pick:  Getafe   Result: 0-0
Stake:  2/10   Odds:  11.00

Hmm, looks like bookies rate Getafe as a team from another planet but for sure the big club, the big names is clear favourite on Nou Camp. But that much?

Both teams come from succesfull europagames in the midweek, maybe the draw Getafe have in München was the most impressing. Specially the way they do it- this team can even give superteams hard work. Ask Benfica and some weeks ago Real Madrid too on Bernabeu. The problem to day is the short resttime since thursday, Barcelona have 2 days more advantage here. But Barcelona this year isnt the same like just a year ago. Ronaldinhos formdrop and now injured and Messi also out is more important.

On every way Barca should win- but crazy things happen now and then:
10-11-07 Getafe Barcelona 2 : 0 Primera Division 2007
26-05-07 Barcelona Getafe 1 : 0 Primera Division 2007
10-05-07 Getafe Barcelona 4 : 0 Copa del Rey 2007
18-04-07 Barcelona Getafe 5 : 2 Copa del Rey 2007
07-01-07 Getafe Barcelona 1 : 1 Primera Division 2007
21-03-06 Barcelona Getafe 3 : 1 Primera Division 2006
06-11-05 Getafe Barcelona 1 : 3 Primera Division 2005
17-04-05 Barcelona Getafe 2 : 0 Primera Division 2005
27-11-04 Getafe Barcelona 1 : 2 Primera Division 2004

Should the miracle happen and Mr Nobodyteam win, I think I know the name on the next Barca-coach....:-)

Manfredonia - Foggia    -4

Stake:  4/10   Odds:  2.50
Bookmaker:  Interwetten   vCash: No

A little loose bet from a little tricky italian league but nice odds at Interwetten on Foggia, who should be motivated to take full pot here.

MANFREDONIA:
A little chance to survive but not so realistic with 9 points up to safer ground and only 5 games remain- did they really believe? Come from a win in Venezia(awful form) but in a hard rest of matches include todays visitors I only see 2 winnerchances to Manfredonia. Its over and out. Bad hometeam with P14 W5 D3 L6 9-13 18p- notice the low scoring. Only 1 scored goal at home in the last 2 month...

FOGGIA:
The leagues best hometeam but it hasnt been enough to secure a playoff, and it looks like they have change the way also to grap some points away from home. 2 wins away in the last 4 matches(Cittadella/Paganese) and last time okay 3-3 at strong Cremonesehouse. So the teams bad performance away all the season is over and the form all over is okay- they crunch Manfredonia at home with 4-0, so it should also give them some confidence today. They need all points so do or die....

Leyton - Leeds    +5
Saturday, April 05th, 2008 16:00
Soccer - Eng. League One

Pick:  Leeds   Result: 0-2
Stake:  4/10   Odds:  2.25
Bookmaker:  StanJames   vCash: No

Without the reduction of 15 points from the start of the season Leeds now should be nr 2 in the table and thats directly promotion. But it isnt so and they need to go on....

LEYTON ORIENT:
6 points outside the playoff but it looks like they most is on a downtrend for a longer period. 3 loss in a row- the latest against bottomteam Port Vale. Not the best hometeam also and have lost 4 out the last 5 games. All in all the mood should not be on top in the group and when Carlisle can win 3-0 here they should have a hard competition today too.

LEEDS:
A impressive start of the season reduce the effect on the missing points and then a period with so and so results but now again is hard to beat. A win today bring them up in playoffzone and beat in the midweek Doncaster away and then its near to think they also can take this one. Very strong away from home, only Swansea is better, the shape is good and they need to keep on.

Not so much time so here is just what BBC write about teamnews:
Brian Saah and JJ Melligan are still missing but Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has an otherwise fully-fit squad for the home clash with Leeds.
Jabo Ibehre is fit despite taking a whack in the face last week as the Os look to end a three-game losing streak.

Leeds boss Gary McAllister has a full squad to select from for the trip.
Midfielder David Prutton (foot) and defender Darren Kenton (hamstring) both missed Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over Doncaster but should be able to return.
